Happy summer

It’s only rock n’ roll, but I like it.
Today, my grandfather who has advancing Alzheimers asked me, “Have you found a husband yet?” I laughed and told him that I was no where near ready for a husband yet. Then he said “Well honey, someone good is out there looking for you.” All I could do was smile at him because I knew that I would never forget that moment. Those are some of the most comforting words that I’ve heard in a long time, and having them come from someone I love makes them much more special.
If you’re lucky enough to still have your grandparents close, make time with them. Let them know you love them. That really goes for anyone in your life that you love. So quit taking the time you think you have with someone for granted.
It’s okay to get a little lost sometimes.
WEDNESDAY.
I was too young to go see this when it came out and now it’s back on the big screen, thank you movie gods.
